 POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 The Hopkinsville-Christian County Chamber of Commerce and Hopkinsville-Christian County Economic Development Council, located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, is in search of a Project and Research Coordinator. Application deadline is June 18, 2010

The Project and Research Coordinator, a full time position, will plan, coordinate and execute research, activities and tasks for the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council. Primary roles for the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council will include research involving business trends for recruitment and retention, coordinate meetings related to retail, existing businesses and manufacturers in Hopkinsville-Christian County, and maintain multiple electronic communication mediums for the Economic Development Council.

Candidates should possess an associate’s degree with a bachelor’s preferred, strong research skills, verbal and written communication skills, some experience in event planning, some experience working with volunteers, strong desire to help community grow, a willingness to relocate, experience with all Microsoft Office products, and an energetic and positive attitude.

Compensation: $26,000-$30,000 with competitive benefits package
